The lid doesn’t close snugly. It’s a smidge loose and that makes it appear to be cheap. I loved the idea, but was a little disappointed with it.

I really love the words on the compass and my son loves it I just wish it would have been as pictured on the site where I ordered it from.The advertised compass had engraving on front outside of compass and was displayed in a box while the compass I received has a plain outside with engraving on inside of compass and came in a small brown pouch
